Look retrospectively at that point in your life where you were praised for doing something good and spectacular, how did you feel?
It is often said that organizations whose major aim is to satisfy customers whilst maximizing profits always turn out to be industry leaders. How would the organizations be able to ascertain the actualization of the goal of satisfying customers without the presence of reviews, increased customer base and repurchase?
So, here is the process:
- You buy a product, you love it and you drop a positive review (review)
- Someone sees your review and is compelled to buy the product (increased customer base)
- Every initial purchase initiates another purchase because consumers love the product (repurchase)
The whole process may not have been possible without the review. It works the same way for everybody. But the focus here will be on those that put out contents.
Most often than not, a lot of people who put out contents for others to see are always skeptical about the acceptance of their post. They ask them selves questions like "would people like it?", "would it strike a chord in their hearts?" etc. Most people that put out content want to know if it's affecting someone's life, giving someone ideas, striking chords in the heart of some, helping someone change, changing someone's mood or even brightening someone's day. They want to know if their post is doing what they expect it to do and the only way they can quantify their expectations is through feedbacks and reviews.
If I may ask, why don't you give feedbacks? Oh! you don't want them to notice you, I see.
Okay, Let me ask you this,
- Have you ever stopped yourself from making a particular purchase because of the negative reviews a product has?
- Have you been more compelled to buy a product because of the reviews?
- Do you scroll through the comments section of a YouTube video before you decide to watch a random video?
- Do you check for reviews before you buy a book?
If "Yes" answers all the aforementioned questions, then, its clear that putting out reviews or feedbacks is of great advantage. Imagine everyone keeps their reviews and feedback to themselves just like you, how would the world be?, exactly howπ€·π»?
Your feedback also helps the creator to know that there's someone somewhere that loves what they do.
Sweetheart, you may be the only person giving the feedback, but trust me, it goes a long way in the heart of the creator. You may never know, your feedback may be the reason they'll continue to do what they do. And just like that, you're part of their success story.
If your answer to the first question is happy, great, elated etc, how about you share the happiness to others also.

ReplyDeleteI've been a victim and beneficiary of this a couple of timesπ π . If you aren't too busy to be blessed by a content, you shouldn't be too busy to drop a review. BTW this blessed me. Thanks TFA.
We all have been victims and beneficiaries ππ. I'm glad it blessed you
DeleteNice one TFA. It's nice shifting the focus to the very important things people are not talking about. Thinking away from what's in vogue and what's on everyone's mind to install a different idea is what makes pioneers stand out in their respective fields. Keep digging, keep hammering and keep revealing to us precious jewels. May your pen not falter. #fighting
