In times like this...

I would be wrong if I said we weren't in trying times all around the world. The issue we are facing isn't for a particular strata. Both young, old, rich, poor, beautiful, not so beautiful, white, black or who ever it is are passing through this issue. Some even feel the world is coming to an end 😁😁😁. Some people have even given up on 2020, they are already saying 2021 is their year🤣🤣🤣. But to be factual, we are not even done with the first quarter and "e be things". A whole lot has happened within the first 90 days of 2020,the world is on compulsory standstill 'cause of this virus, fire outbreaks, plagues, earthquakes and many more. Sighs😪. What should be our disposition in times like this especially for this virus:
 1. Pray: The Bible admonishes us to pray prayers of Faith. The same bible tells us faith without work is dead. So inasmuch as we are praying, also take actions. Taking action is scriptural. If action is staying at home, then stay at home. As a believer, you should have the assurance of Psalm 91:10 and also the action that Joseph had when he was told Herod was killing babies born in Bethlehem. Try not to be "religious", be spiritual!
 2. Take safety measures: The health workers and government authorities have laid down measures to follow in order to curtail the spread.
 3. Avoid crowded environs: This cannot be over emphasized. Just one person can infect many people and they wouldn't know. Avoid crowded places.
 4. Obedience: To obey is better that to sacrifice.
5. Love:  Ultimately let's love one another. This also cannot be over emphasized. "lOVE". We understand that things are not easy now in the country, the best a seller can do is to sell things at the normal price most especially the basic things we need this season, not for them to make the basic stuffs unaffordable for the masses, where is love in exploitation, like where!!. As mush as possible, let's put ourselves in others shoes, help one another in the possible way we can, help humanity, pray the scientists get inspired, pray for the health workers that are in the front line of this battle and pray for nations of the world. Spread the love boo.
God bless The Federal Republic of Nigeria🇳🇬 God bless all the Nations of the World ⚡
2020 will be better
One love 💖

Ajuwaya in an Ijaw land

Glory to God, I'm at the end of my service year and I've successfully completed my 12 months of National Service to Nigeria. I was privileged to serve in the South-South region, precisely Bayelsa state. I remember waking up one random morning with a nudge that I was going to serve in Bayelsa and the first thing I did was to open google and search for opportunities in the financial sector of the state. I found out that there was a CBN branch located in Yenagoa and probably that was where the "Lord was sending me to". Ever since then, I've always told those around me that I would serve in Bayelsa. Every time my Mum heard that, she would immediately reject it for me because it is not her daughter that would go for service in a very distant location.  After a very long while (Covid and a sprinkle of OAU), it was finally time to register for NYSC. All my attempts to select four states were futile. I kept on seeing "no states available" and in the end, I regis...

MEMORIES ☑️

Every phase of our life is short lived but the memories we keep lasts  forever. The great and not so great things we experience are hinged on keeping us in the moment, but a picture, video or journal of that moment serves as an immortal piece of such experiences. For the good, it brings back smiles to our faces and brightens our present state while the bad gives us the assurance that there’s always a light at the end of every situation.  We meet different individuals at different phases in life and the possibility of growing with the same set of people in the friendship space all through the years is very slim. But keeping memories would give one a higher chance of reconnecting. Moving from high school, I had great friends, but all I have left is the mental pictures of that season. All through my junior secondary school, I had no picture or video to remind me of some moments I’d love to relive. I understand that having mobile phones wasn’t prominent for students my age at that...

Our Governmental Dispositions

In our world today, every Country or Sovereign State has a Constituted Authority. Such Authority is called the Government. The Government are a section of the people, other people have chosen to lead them. At least, Democratically, that's what it means. In a correct system, the Government is supposed to be accountable to the citizens of her country. But in a failed system, it may not be so🤦. Our Government is not perfect. People would and will still continue to make mistakes in what ever position they are. And such people are the ones that makes up the Government. The citizens of the country are not perfect either, we all have flaws, we believe if we get into the governmental leadership position, we would perform excellently well, better than the previous people. Well, its just something we wish for🙄. But what should we do instead, we are aware we have an imperfect government system with citizens that are full of flaws, what should be our disposition? 1. Instead of rain...
